Falling Behind

Wow, I have been really falling behind on my postings. Which could be a good thing because I am so very busy these days. I have been teaching card making, to a wonderful group of ladies, once a week. We make two cards and they seem to be taking an hour each to make, so can get pretty involved. I think they are all happy with what I am coming up with since they still show up every week :-) I promise to post some of the cards we have made, but not today. Today's card is my Valentine's Day card for my husband.

The picture above was taken in front of the sewing machine because I did some sewing on the card to enter into Drew's challenge over on Scrappy Happiness. Below you can see the stitches more clearly. I made the pink ruffles out of paper then sewed them down and also stitched all around the outside of the card.
This card also qualifies to be entered into the Pals Paper Arts challenge which is to use a Vintage theme. Love it!

The paper is from Prima's Shabby Chic Collection called "My Lovely", the Love sticker is from Making Memories, and the pink blooms well, sorry I don't know. The hat pin was put together with some yummies that I already had.

Thanks for checking in on me :-)
