Christmas Card Marathon part deux

Another My Mind's Eye card using the collection from Lost & Found Christmas. Those adorable pennants come as a trim.  So cute!!

A close up of the pennants show that I popped them up off the card.  Nice added dimension.

Here's another card from the same paper collection.  I used the pennants as well as some gorgeous lace I had in my stash.

Here's a close up of the pennants and the lace.  I wove some beautiful ribbon through the lace and added a cute little bow.

I am having so much fun making all these cards.  I hope you are enjoying them as well.
See you tomorrow for more!

Christmas Card Marathon

Hello my fellow crafters.  Honest I am still crafting.  Every day!  But looking at my blog, it doesn't look that way.  So I thought I should post some of the Christmas Cards that I have been making.
I don't know what got into me this year, but I haven't made a single duplicate card.  arrggggh!
So here are a couple that have made it to the mail box.  I LOVE them both!  The first one is done using All is Bright from My Mind's Eye.  The second card is made using paper from Webster's Pages.  The sizes were fun to work with then to top it off, I made my own envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board from we R Memories.  That little tool is a must have.
That's it for today.
Thank you for stopping in.

May your days be Merry and Bright

Hello my crafty friends,
Did you know that Close to my Heart has a  whole TV channel?  Yup, they do and you can check that out right here! Great videos that share the creative process along with special tips and techniques too.   If you have a few moments, be sure to watch.

So, Have you started your Christmas Cards yet?  My ladies will be starting theirs next weekend when we start  round one of our Christmas Card Workshops.  Aren't these GORGEOUS!!  They use the Frosted Card Workshop on the Go from Close to my Heart, with just a bit of tweaking on my part.  But, what an awesome idea this is.  The kit comes with all the materials you need to create 15 beautiful Christmas cards. The stamp set,  the papers, the card stock, the envelopes, the twine, the glitter gems PLUS the instructions!! All for $24.95!
So are you ready for the Christmas season?  I'm sure not!  I'm on the side that does not participate with any Christmas decorating until December.  But, Christmas Cards are a different story.  Have you started yours? :-)
Today's post is my contribution to the blog hop Don't Get Your Tinsel in a Tangle

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Yes, It's that time of year again.  The stores are putting out their Christmas merchandise. Along with Halloween and Thanksgiving displays.  ugg  So I guess I needed to get that little push to get me going with our Christmas cards for my November Kreative Klub.
This year our Kreative Klub Christmas Card Workshop will be held  on Friday, November 9th at 9:00 if you can't make that date, I am also having another Klub meeting on Sunday, November 11th at 1:00..
We will be using Close to my Heart’s beautiful Pear and Partridge collection to make 15 Christmas cards (5 cards each of 3 designs) and a cute decorated file folder to hold all the cards and envelopes.

The project kit is $30 and includes all the supplies needed to create the cards, file box and the envelopes to finish your card set.  Below is the beautiful stamp set that will be included in your kit.

You may also purchase the kit through my Close to my Heart web site. Just click on my Very Merry Christmas link to be brought directly to the Pear and Partridge Workshop on the Go kit.
    Thanks for stopping in today.
    hugs,
    Michelle
