Hello my friends! I'm excited to share with you my latest card. It's
called a Slide Out Card and I'm hoping by looking at my pictures you can
see how it works.
To create this fun card, I used the Close to my Heart Buzz and Bumble Workshop on the Go kit. The kit comes with the papers, stamps and the cute little sparkles that I used. Did you notice the little bee's? I incorporated them into my design using some clear plastic packaging material.
Here's the card closed so I am still able to put it into a regular size envelope to mail. Besides showing you here, how the card works, I should tell you that I created a video tutorial! The images were stamped with Cocoa Ink onto Colonial White cardstock. Colored with a mix of yellow and orange colored pencils and then smoothed out with a blending pen.. The two verses were also stamped with the Cocoa ink onto Creme Brulee cardstock. Here's a video to show you how I created the card.
Lots of cuts and important scoring to make this cutie. To help you out, here are the details.
Buzz and Bumble stamp Workshop on the Go Scrapbooking Kit
Two 4 1/4" x 5" for front of card and one for the back ( I
used Cocoa)
One 3 1/8" x 4 1/2" for the slider ( I used Brown Glitter
Paper)
One 4" x 4 3/4" Designer Paper to layer on the front (I used
Buzz and Bumble)
One 4" x 4" for the inside of the slider ( I used Creme
Brulee)
Cocoa Ink Stamp Pad
Orange and Yellow colored pencils
Blending Pen
Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
Eyelet
Crop-a-dile
Tape Runner
Two 4 1/4" x 5" for front of card and one for the back ( I
used Cocoa) Cut lines are at 1/2" on both long sides and 1"
up on one side for the front of your card. Score the front piece at 1", 2
1/4" & 3 1/2"
One 3 5/8" x 4 1/2" for the slider ( I used Brown Glitter
Paper) Cut 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" for the inside tag (Creme Brulee)
One 4" x 4 3/4" Designer Paper to layer on the front (I used
Buzz and Bumble) Make matching scores and trim the inside of your DP
One 4" x 3 1/2" for the inside of the slider ( I used Creme
Brulee)
Then have fun decorating!

Hello my blog friends, are you ready for your weekend to begin? I hope you all have a wonderful one. Today I have two cards to share with you. The first one is a CASE from a very talented lady. You can find her original card here. http://www.scrapbookymas.com/
My card uses the April Stamp of the Month called My Sunshine and is only available for a few more days. The paper I used is from the Buzz and Bumble collection. And the cuts were made using the Cricut Artiste. Can you see the colors of the balloon? I embossed it with white then sponged on different colors of ink to make the gorgeous effect.
One of the things I learned from Scrapbook y Mommas, was to score the Close to my Heart cardstock, turn it over so you have the 'hill' facing you and sand. Because the cardstock has a white core, the white will show through when sanded. Kinda cool huh.?
My next card also uses the Stamp of the Month but I used the Tommy paper collection along with the Coordinating Adhesive Canvas Sheets. Lots of distressing on this one.
