My Favorite Bunny

Hello Bloggers, it's the weekend and life is good.  I hope you will be able to enjoy yours too.
Today's post is my take on the sketch challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge page. I used the cute little Sweet Innocence Warm Fuzzies girl along with Authentiques Uncommon line of papers.  What is really cool is that the whole card was made on my computer.  yaa!

I was able to layer all my papers using Photoshop so they really look 3 dimensional.  I printed out the Unique and You're One Of A Kind pieces then cut them out, layered them with thin cardboard (which you can see in the picture above ) then added them to the card.  Pretty cool, huh?!

If you'd like to join Simon Says Stamp Challenge, here's the sketch and here's the link.
Thanks' for peaking in on me today.
Have a fabulous day!

Bling it ON!

Another weekend already!  Wow, these weeks are flying by.  I have been really looking forward to today.  I had  made a purchase from made from Eversave, about a month ago.  A $60 massage for $30 and it's happening today!  My back is jumping up and down for joy!! Since moving to Florida, 5 years ago, I have not found a masseuses that has helped me like the one I had up North.  So I'm crossing my fingers and toes that this one will be the one.

So on to my card.  I am entering this beauty into a couple of challenges.  The first is a sketch challenge, MFTWCS43,  by My Favorite Things. I made a few changes as I was putting it together, but honestly it started out as this.....>
My second challenge is to enter My Favorite Things Guest Challenge Contest, MFTGUESTDT1111.  The theme is Bling it On.  ooo I can do bling!
So on to the card.  I started with the adorable Pure Innocence Fairy Girl stamped with Stazon onto watercolor paper and colored with watercolor pencils.
Card stock is from Stampin' Up! ~ Die cuts are Lotus Pendant and Layered Circles dies by Spellbinders ~ Glitter by Martha Stewart ~ Gems and ribbon from Michael's. The circle, the smaller square and the verse are all raised by using pieces of cardboard from a pizza box!  I love recycling!!

If you are interested in joining in on these challenges, here's the scoop ~
Each month, as part of the New Release preparations, MFT Fans everywhere are invited to participate in the MFT monthly search for a guest designer.  The winner will join MFT team in the weekly Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge, will participate in daily teasers for the December release and will win a prize package valued at over $200 loaded with product from the December release!  You’ll find all the details of the Guest Designer Contest on this thread.

Good luck, and thanks for visiting!!

Kiya!

I'm on a roll!  I've completed quite a few cards this weekend but you'll have to be patient to see them all.  I need to take a break, since my back is screaming at me, and go sit in front of the TV with my heating pad. But, I did want to share this card with you before I mailed it away. Isn't she a cutie!  I did a little creative stamping with the Pure Innocence karate girl and boy from My Favorite Things.  I wanted the boys body and the girls head LOL.  I think it came out just fine and nobody will the know the difference if we don't tell.  So that's the story with the girl, now the story with Kiya!  The banner was made using an SVG file, called Banner Bonaza, from McMahon Five Designs.  You can find it here.

I cut all the layers out using my Silhouette with card stock I found at my local Thrift Store. My girlie was colored with colored pencils and my aqua pen.  Kiya..well that's just a sound that is made by these karate folks (that's what I've been told anyway) I printed it freehand on the card stock, sure looks like I stamped it huh?  I'm just a little proud :-)
The inside reads 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun'  How fitting to send to my husbands grandkids who are very involved with Kenpo which is a form of Karate that their Dad teaches.
I'm glad you had a chance to stop in for a visit.  I hope you enjoy the rest of your night.
