Who's ready for Summer?

Who's ready for summer??? I had a blast creating this fun colorful card using one of the borders from the Assorted Edges Flair stamp set. I also added some of that 'gotta have it' teal glitter tape.  You truly do!! Flower by Cricut (of course) The papers are from the sweet Heartstrings collections .

 You can see up a little closer in the second picture.  See those purple leaves, who doe that>  ME!  I used my embossing tool to score the back side of the leaf, turned it over and slightly inked the veins of the leaves.

 Add a little more bling and TA DA!  Ready for some warm weather.

Hello my crafty and not crafty friends.  In today's post I'm sharing one of the many cards that I have been creating using the Wetlands stamp from Stampin' Up. (more cards to follow in my next post)  I love those adorable little birds!  I've also used the background stamp called Hardwood from SU which I think goes so well together with the tiny birds.

I used black Stazon ink to stamp the birds and the sentiment, and used Slate ink, from CTMH, for the background. The shaped panels were cut using my Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge also from CTMH.  I love being able to design my cards using the Cricut Craft Room, it makes it all so easy!

My card was prompted by this weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog ~ use three embellishments.  I used eyelets, twine and glitter.

Cascading Chantilly

 Hello my friends.  I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Having a holiday on Monday sure seems to make the week go by quickly.  Can you believe it's almost June!!  In celebration of the upcoming month I've created this wonderful Cascading Card. Isn't it beautiful!?

All the panels are from the gorgeous Chantilly paper from Close to my Heart. I cut out the butterflies and flowers using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  Then they all got a good dose of flat back pearls.

The butterflies are all propped up using Craft Plastic but I'm sure you could use some of the hard plastic wrap that a lot of merchandise come packaged in.

I'm selling the kit to make this spectacular card for yourself or to share. I know that my card is going to be tough to part with. It looks so nice sitting on my shelf.
