Frosted Ornament and Flower

Hi Folks!  I hope you are all enjoying the Fall weather.  Here in Florida there is not too much of a weather fluctuation but we can tell by our cooler mornings that Fall is here. And of course, if we go into any store and the Christmas decorations are out, it must be Fall.
Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I created using the Frosted paper from Close to my Heart.  I am still in love with those beautiful muted blues and grays.
This beautiful card uses a treat cup, half back pearls, ribbon and my trusty Cricut.  Isn't it adorable!?
Here's a close up of the pearls ~ you can see that I used two half back pearls and put them together to create the look of a whole pearl.
Next up is a card for a new friend who, the first time I met her, wore a scarf that exactly matched the zig zag pattern of the Frosted paper.
The verse comes from ole faithful Pinterest.  Come to think of it, the ornament card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.  That Pinterest just sucks me in.  argggg
Close up of the flower that I created using my Tim Holtz tattered flowers die.
Thank you for stopping in today. :-)

  4. Both your cards are beautiful. I love what you did with the flower and especially how you did that ornament card.

I know what you mean about the weather. Here in Austin, TX, the weather doesn't tend to change much, either. We know it's winter when we start getting rain.

    Hugs,
