Hello my friends, It's Monday night ~ hubby is watching Spider man again, my sister is watching the baseball game and my kids are safe. I have one driving from here in Florida to New England and another who was within walking distance to the horrible events at the Boston Marithon. It reminded me of the tragedy of 911 and I just wanted all my little sheep home with their Momma. It's a crazy world we live in.
To occupy my self, cuz I don't watch baseball and have already seen Spider Man I thought I would share a card that I recently created.
Isn't it fun!? For the main image I used the stamp Pirouette from Close to my Heart. I used the stamp three times in different colors and heat embossed them for some nice shine. Each layer was cut with the Artiste cartridge and then popped up a bit for some dimension. The bright colorful papers are from the CTMH May promotion for National Scrapbooking Month. In celebration of the this annual event, Close to my Heart is offering a
yet unannounced special promotion that involves this fun paper
packet called "Dream Pop". I think I would describe these colors as juicy and rich plus some of the papers are glossy and some have texture!
So that's your sneak peek at the upcoming special. What do you think? Want to know how you can score some of this goodness? Starting May 1, 2013, place a minimum order of $35 of current product and get the Dream Pop paper packet, valued at $19.95, for just $10. Get one $10 Dream Pop paper packet for every $35 spent in an order.
For Hostesses: Hostesses will receive one free Dream Pop paper packet when their May Gathering sales total $400 or more, excluding tax and shipping costs.
Oh! I just realized I didn't say that the shapes were cut out using the Cricut
Thank you for sharing my evening with me.

Hello Michelle,
ReplyDeleteYour cards are fun, festive and fab! I do not have one of those machines, but they do cut great shapes. I love your sense of style!
I too, feel very sad about what happened at the marathon yesterday.
Hugs,
Terri
