When Life Gives You Lemons

Happy Friday!  Today I have another cute image from McMahon Five Designs. This set includes three images and three verses plus there are also digital papers that match.  How wonderful to have everything right at your fingertips.  No looking through stacks of paper trying to find just the right designer paper to go with your stamp.

I created the card base using Summer Sun card stock from Stampin' Up! then layered on my striped and lemon designer paper from M5 Designs.  The rick rack was created using a Martha Stewart punch and adhered with a glue pen.  I colored the lemons image using my watercolor pencils, cut the circle shape out using my old SU coluzzle, layered it on top of another circle Summer Sun. I then used a smaller circle under it all to give the image a little dimension.  To create the little lift on the banner sentiment I used a glue dot on one side, put a pencil under the center then stuck down another glue dot towards the end of the sentiment.  This left a little bit of a gap.

For the inside of the card I again used my colored pencils and covered the 

yummy beverage using glossy accents.
