Picking the Lilac

Here's another beauty from the McMahon Five Vintage images.  As soon as I saw this pretty lady, I knew I had to have her.  My favorite flower is the lilac and that's exactly what this pretty lady is holding.

 

I first printed her off using plain old printer paper.  I had just wanted to see how she looked all printed out.

She looked pretty good so I decided to color her with my colored pencils and aqua pen. She came out gorgeous! So I decided to just use the cheap paper. I am quite happy with the turn out.

 So here's my gal put on a card using patterned paper from Sassafras and lace from my stash.  The sentiment reads 'You are very much a part of the good things in my life.'
