Holiday Puppy

 Good morning folks!  Here is another one of McMahon Five fabulous digital designs.  This one is called Happy Holiday Puppy and if you are interested in purchasing this cutie, you can find it here.
I printed her off my computer then colored the pup with my colored pencils.  She was cut out with Circle Nestabilities and sponged a bit before removing the die.  The DP is from a Christmas stack that I've had for a few years.  I cut the trees out using some of the paper and backed them with red card stock.  The inside uses the same DP and the sentiment is part of the digital design, Happy Holiday Puppy.

Telescoping Card

Hello bloggers!

Today's card is made using three layered circles connected by brads. Otherwise known as a telescope card.  You can find the directions here.  It may look difficult, but it's quite easy.  The images I used are from McMahon Five Designs and you can find those here.

Fiona's Felines

 Another gorgeous, well two gorgeous images from McMahon Five Designs.  This one is called Fiona's Felines and you can find it here. I chose this image because I love cats!  I would love to be holding all three of these, but I'm sure I'd get pretty scratched up in the process.

I printed the image and verse onto watercolor paper and colored it in using my trusty watercolor pencils and aqua pen.  I hope you can see that the cute cats have flocking on them and it looks quite fur IMO.  LoL

Acorn Border

Good morning folks!  Here is another one of McMahon Five fabulous digital designs.  This one is called (aptly) Acorn Border and if you are interested in purchasing it, you can find it here.
To create my border, I first colored the acorns and leaves using my Stampin' Up! markers then embossed the whole border using versamark and clear embossing powder. I then cut it out to create a border for my quote. The little scroll is from one of the new Spellbinders die called Twisted Metal Tags and Accents.  Keep an eye out for this one, it has some very cool dies included.

Vintage Girls by McMahon Five Designs

McMahon Five Designs releases this week included these adorable Vintage Girls  I colored the cuties using colored pencils (seems to be my go-to coloring choice) I cut the image out with my Spellbinders Nestabilities circle die then inked around the edges before removing the die.

Then I adhered the image to a doily that I had spritzed with some home made glimmer mist.  The base layer is a pretty cool piece of card stock from a mat stack by DCWV called Tattered Time. The flower was part of a freebie that I recieved from an awesome online store called Wholeport.  They have some amazing stuff for an amazing price. I layered the flower with a pearl in the center and used a piece of tissue paper from a clothing pattern.

Girl's Paperie Altered Birdhouse

 Oh my my! Isn't this the cutest bird house you've seen in awhile??  Let me pat my own back :-)
This house started out as another $1 birdhouse - then I went to town using paper by Girl's Paperie.  I love all their products!  The roses are a mix of Walmart and Michael's finds and the Calla Lilies, by Prima, can be found at McMahon Five Designs.  The pretty little cameo is from Webster's Pages and the heart with wings was in a bag of buttons bought at Michael's.

 I added creme paint to the papers, and to some of the flowers that I thought were a bit too pinky.  I also added pink paint to some of the flowers that were too white.

 Oh!  and that base :-)  Well it's made using a candle stick and an upside down candy dish :-) Love it!!

Baby Carriage

Another post..two in the same day! This is another gorgeous digital image from McMahon Five Designs called Baby Carriage.  And!  it's another Sketch Challenge from Splitcoaststampers!  This one is Sketch #346.  I am quite surprised at myself for not trying these skectches out earlier in my 'crafting career'  It cuts my crafting time in half, well not really since I make up the time by making more projects.

Cornucopia

Todays card features another digital image from McMahon Five Designs, aptly named Cornucopia.  I colored the image using my water pen and chalk inks from Stampin' Up! I then cut the image out with my Big Shot using Spellbinders Label 16 and inking the inside with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I then layered this on top of another die called Lattice Shapeabilities Pendant from Spellbinders.  The top background paper is from K & Company and the bottom is from Bazzill that was stamped using one of my favorite back ground stamps from Stampin' Up! with versamark.  The bow is from Celebrate It and for the last detail, three black dew drops.

Cuteness!

 Oh my goodness, isn't she the cutest little girl!  She is a brand new image available over at M5D starting today. I paired her with some designer paper that I purchase last year from Michael's.  I added some adorable lace that reminded me of petticoats from Webster's Pages.  On top of that I 'stapled' Tempting Turqouis ribbon from SU.  And then a button to top it off.

Kiya!

I'm on a roll!  I've completed quite a few cards this weekend but you'll have to be patient to see them all.  I need to take a break, since my back is screaming at me, and go sit in front of the TV with my heating pad. But, I did want to share this card with you before I mailed it away. Isn't she a cutie!  I did a little creative stamping with the Pure Innocence karate girl and boy from My Favorite Things.  I wanted the boys body and the girls head LOL.  I think it came out just fine and nobody will the know the difference if we don't tell.  So that's the story with the girl, now the story with Kiya!  The banner was made using an SVG file, called Banner Bonaza, from McMahon Five Designs.  You can find it here.

I cut all the layers out using my Silhouette with card stock I found at my local Thrift Store. My girlie was colored with colored pencils and my aqua pen.  Kiya..well that's just a sound that is made by these karate folks (that's what I've been told anyway) I printed it freehand on the card stock, sure looks like I stamped it huh?  I'm just a little proud :-)

The inside reads 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun'  How fitting to send to my husbands grandkids who are very involved with Kenpo which is a form of Karate that their Dad teaches.

Lady in the Water

 Here's another beautiful image from McMahon Five Vintage Digital stamps.  Isn't she a beauty!!  I colored her using my colored pencils and blender pen, and wow! I impressed myself how beautiful she came out.  I matted her on Not Quite Navy from Stampin' Up! Then used some designer paper that has been accumulating dust for the last five years.  I thought it went perfectly with the waves.

I added a few seashells on top of some crochet trim.  Then glitzed my image up a bit with some diamond Stickles.  Let me know what you think.  Is it just me, or is she gorgeous!?

Beach Fun

Here's another beautiful image from McMahon Five Vintage digital images called Beach Fun.  I colored my gal and scene using my colored pencils and H2O pen.  I thought the tag from last years Graphic 45 line went well with the era of her bathing suit.
That's all I have for you tonight, still not feeling tip top so I'm off to bed and it's not even 8:00 yet..yawn.

The Painter

 

One more image from McMahon Five Designs latest digital release.  

This beauty is called The Painter.

Again, I used my colored pencils along with my water brush.  The lace is from JoAnn's which I weaved with a thin strip of the base card stock from Stampin Up!  The designer paper is from Basic Gray and it was my jumping off color choices for my lady. I think it all came together nicely.
